Business Technology Essentials (BTE):
Designed to master basic skills in the areas of word processing, database management, spreadsheets, presentations, Internet, and E-mail.
Integrated Computer Technology:
Provides project-based applications of concepts learned in BTE. Major emphasis on real-world experiences. Prequisite is Business Technology Essentials.
Interactive Multimedia Design:
Provides skills involving presentation, desktop publishing, web publishing, and digital graphics. Prequisite is Business Technology Essentials.
Law in Society:
Designed to acquaint students with basic legal principles common to business and personal activities. Prequisite is Business Technology Essentials.
Administrative Principles:
Provides a preview of administrative responsibility by allowing students to participate in administrative problem-solving activities and to develop conflict-management and interpersonal skills. Prequisites are Business Technology Essentials and Integrated Computer Technology, or Interactive Multimedia Design.
Accounting Principles
Designed to help students understand the basic principles of the accounting cycle by analyzing business transactions, preparing financial statements, and activities in banking and payroll. Prerequisite is Business Technology Essentials.
Coordinated Studies
Designed to provide the opportunities to evaluate and develop a career plan and prepare/update a career-employment portfolio. Required for any student desiring to Co-Op. Prequisite is Business Technology Essentials and Interactive Multmedia Design. ANY STUDENT DESIRING TO CO-OP MUST TAKE THIS COURSE PRIOR TO OR DURING THEIR CO-OP TERM.
Coordinated Studies Seminar:
Students enrolled in the Co-Op program will participate in the seminar for one class period each week. Students must earn 270 hours of work-experience. Prequisites are Coordinated Studies and three other business/marketing courses.

Future Business Leaders of America
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the national youth organization which functions as an integral part of the instructional program. This organization offers many activities for students to participate in such as the regional, state, and national level competitions in business and computer-related subject areas.
All opportunities help students to prepare for the working world and provide them with leadership skills.
